Süperprojekt's E-Ride Pro wraps are designed to protect and preserve your E-Ride Pro frame. The factory coating fails prematurely, and powdercoating your bike is expensive, time consuming, and makes it difficult to change your bike's look.

After trying practically every e-moto vinyl wrap on the market, we found that most were too thin to be durable, while also being too expensive for what they were. We addressed each issue we found in creating Süperprojekt's vinyl wraps.

Recommended tools

• Soap and water to clean your E-Ride Pro
• Isopropyl alcohol (or "rubbing alcohol", 90%+) to prepare bike for maximum adhesion
• A warm workspace (68+ degrees Fahrenheit)
• A hair dryer or heat gun is highly recommended for installation due to the thickness of the vinyl. Gently heating the vinyl and frame of the bike makes installation easier by helping the vinyl match the bike's contours. Light heat also greatly improves adhesion, reducing "lifting", improving installation process, and and maximizing the lifespan of your wrap.

 

Installation

• Wash your E-Ride Pro of dirt and debris. Use gentle soap and water, and avoid wetting any electrical connections in the process. Allow your bike to thoroughly dry before moving on to next step
• Wipe down your E-Ride Pro frame with isopropyl alcohol, taking care to clean beyond where the wrap will be installed. This helps avoid dirt falling into your workspace and causing adhesion issues later
• Gently heat frame with hair dryer or heat gun on low heat until all isopropyl alcohol has evaporated and the frame is completely dry
• Choose the area you'd like to start the installation, and select the corresponding piece of vinyl from your Süperprojekt kit
• Starting from one end, remove half of the vinyl's backing, line up the adhesive section with the frame, and adhere that section to the bike
• Slowly remove the remaining backing, taking care not to fold the vinyl back on itself
• Carefully adhere the remainder of the vinyl piece to the E-Ride Pro frame, taking care to work out any bubbles with your fingers
• Gently heat the vinyl using a hair dryer or heat gun on low heat. Avoid heating one area too long, and keep the heat moving to evenly warm the vinyl (it doesn't take much)
• Using heat where needed, gently work vinyl into the contours of the E-Ride Pro's frame until entire piece is adhered to the frame
• Repeat process for each piece of the Süperprojekt vinyl kit until your E-Ride Pro is completely wrapped
• Evenly "post-heating" the vinyl after installation can help activate the adhesive fully, and will help maximize the lifespan of the Süperprojekt wrap

 

Removal

• Süperprojekt wrap kits use a strong but low-residue adhesive, so removal consists of simply peeling the vinyl off your E-Ride pro
• For any stickiness or adhesive that may remain, Isopropyl alcohol or "Goo Gone" may be useful
• Note: most Surron and E-Ride Pro frames are dip-painted from the factory, which is not as durable as powdercoat. If any cleaning agent is removing the factory finish, stop immediately and try a less solvent alternative
